Our services (B2B only)

Sloth Studio provides videography, animation, and related creative services for business customers only. Our services are not intended for consumer/personal use.

Quotes and project scope

Any quote or proposal we provide will outline what’s included, such as:

• deliverables (what you’ll receive)

• timelines (where applicable)

• costs and payment terms

Work outside of the agreed scope may require a revised quote or additional charges.

Client responsibilities

To keep projects running smoothly, you agree to:

• provide accurate information and brand assets (where needed)

• give feedback and approvals in a reasonable timeframe

• ensure you have the rights to any materials you provide (logos, footage, music, etc.)

• obtain permissions for locations, staff, or contributors where applicable

Delays in supplying assets or feedback may delay delivery dates.

Revisions and approvals

Projects typically include a reasonable number of revisions appropriate to the work being delivered (unless otherwise agreed).

Large changes to the original direction or scope may be treated as additional work and billed separately.

Once final deliverables have been approved, further edits may incur additional costs.

Invoicing and payments

Sloth Studio invoices clients for agreed work.

Unless otherwise stated on the invoice:

• invoices are payable within 14 days

• payments are in GBP (£)

Late payment may result in work being paused or delivery timelines being delayed.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible.

Work completed up to the date of cancellation remains chargeable. Any third-party costs already incurred (such as equipment hire or travel) may also remain payable.

Where filming or production time has been booked and cancelled at short notice, a reasonable cancellation charge may apply.

Refunds

Because our work is custom and project-based, refunds are only offered where there is a genuine issue with delivery.

If there’s a problem, we’ll always aim to resolve it first by:

• correcting the issue, or

• providing reasonable revisions to meet the agreed scope

If we cannot deliver the agreed outcome after attempting to resolve the issue, we may offer a partial or full refund depending on how much work has been completed.

Intellectual property and usage

Unless agreed otherwise in writing:

• You retain ownership of any materials you provide to us

• Sloth Studio retains ownership of working files and production assets created during the process

• Final deliverables become yours once full payment has been received

Portfolio use

Unless you request otherwise in writing, you allow Sloth Studio to display completed work (or excerpts) as part of our portfolio, showreel, and marketing.

Website use

You agree not to misuse our website. This includes attempting to:

• gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems

• upload or distribute malware or harmful code

• copy or reuse website content without permission

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed under UK law, Sloth Studio is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit or loss of business opportunity.

Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded under UK law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
